El equipo técnico del establecimiento El Junco, Bernardo Böcking, Santiago Bandeiras y Juan Carnelli, han implementado en dicho establecimiento el riego intermitente. El Programa de Arroz de INIA Tacuarembó en conjunto con dicho equipo, vienen trabajando el tema del uso eficiente del agua en el cultivo de arroz. Por segundo año se instalo un ensayo en Paso Farías, Artigas, en campos de la firma ?El Porvenir?, estancia La Magdalena. El ensayo se planifico para determinar la incidencia del riego intermitente sobre el desarrollo fisiológico y posterior rendimiento del cultivar INIA Olimar, y como una medida mas de control de gorgojo acuático. También en el área de influencia de Tacuarembó se instaló un ensayo en la Unidad Experimental y Demostrativa de Cinco Sauces, en los campos de la firma Amorin, el cual incluyo el estudio del cultivar INIA Olimar. Este último ensayo tuvo problemas de inundación debido al desborde del arroyo Cinco Sauces, por lo tanto no se presentan los datos, ya que los tratamientos de riego fueron desdibujados por dicha inundación. |
